As the Senior Designer at Assiniboine College for nearly nine years, I have played a key role in shaping this and other publications, a crucial part of the college's recruitment toolkit. This publication was created to work alongside the college's domestic viewbook with a focus on the Indigenous community's needs.
The colour palette was chosen for its ability to complement the main Assiniboine palette, as well as for its roots in a more traditional, nature-based colour scheme. Engaging, Indigenous focus imagery and thoughtful design was a priority when designing the Indigenous Student Guide.
