Second piece in my Motherhood abstract series.
That whole day is mostly a blur… but I’ll never forget the moment I looked down at that perfect, squishy little potato.
I tried to capture that moment in this painting—using intense reds, yellows, and greens to reflect the chaos and raw emotion of the birth itself. I contrasted that with pale neutrals and whites to represent the stillness and calm that came after.
